About Tabletop Society

Founded in 2018 by passionate board game enthusiasts Marcus Chen and Isabella Rodriguez, Tabletop Society began as a small corner shop in Collingwood with a simple dream: to create Melbourne's most welcoming space for tabletop gaming. What started as a collection of 50 carefully chosen games has grown into a thriving community hub housing over 500 titles and serving thousands of players each year.

Our journey began when Marcus, a former software engineer, and Isabella, an experienced educator, met at a local game night and discovered their shared passion for bringing people together through the magic of board games. They noticed that Melbourne lacked a dedicated space where both seasoned gamers and curious newcomers could feel equally welcome, so they decided to create that space themselves.

Today, Tabletop Society stands as more than just a retail store – we're a community cornerstone where friendships are forged, strategic minds are challenged, and families create lasting memories around carefully crafted cardboard and wood.
